Hello all. I’m taking the plunge and migrating from Joomla to WordPress MU. I have several extensions that I want to translate to WP. One of them is a multimedia video solution that incorporates various audio and video conversions (H.264, FFMPEG, etc.), supporting FLV, MP3 and MP4 playback. The solution I have works perfectly

Do you know of a good WP API reference? If so, I’d love to get my multimedia extension recoded into WP. Thanks!

To be fair “Framework” usually means that it speeds up developing your solution and is not an ‘out of the box’ solution.

it’s pathetic, they take 5 years to develop such stupidity, I really can’t understand these coders on Linux, they fail to mention this framework is built on Linux using Linux syntax and not compatible with windows servers that run word-press.

from my understanding, you will probably need to compile all codecs example ffmpeg , audio codec fly-tools etc

the documentation is simply disgrace, its truly stupid even if its open sourced.

” transcoder-config.sh ” this bash script does most of the things you need, i assume you probably need to run this and have everything installed on your Linux box, before you try to make MySQL database and import the tables shown in the article by the developers.

its truly piece of shat ! these type of projects makes me hate linux even more.
