If you have kept up with your updates on WPMU releases, then you have probably seen the update reminder that reads something like this:

Site Administrator: WordPress 2.7 is available! A new version of WordPress MU will be available soon.

I wrote a quick little plugin for folks who would rather not see this reminder. You can download it here: Disable WPMU version check (519)

    I do not care so much on my own blog but I set up blogs for others and I have had some when they see this attempt to upgrade on their own. This never turns out well and then I have to clean up a mess.
