Buddypress now available

The BuddyPress site is now open with loads of pretty screenshots, a mailing list, trac and an svn repository.

I’ve also seen a lot of misconceptions and plain ol’ confusion as to what Buddypress does and how you use it. It is, in the simplest of terms, a plugin for WordPressMU (or more correclty, a bundle of plugins).  Also, some people are unclear what a “vanilla install” of MU is – it means just a plain setup with no added anything, like the WPMU code you get in the download package.

For more details, see the BuddyPress about page.

Looks good, Andy. ;)   Can’t wait to try it.
